Spam Filters in Cloud Hosting
If you get a cloud hosting plan from us and if you take advantage of our mail services, you’ll be able to enable spam filtering for any of the email accounts that you create from the Email Manager section of your Hepsia Control Panel. With no more than a few mouse clicks, you can select between 5 different security levels. In case you start getting spam, you can start with the lowest one and then gradually raise the level until you stop receiving spam. We rely on one of the best and most famous email filters out there called SpamAssassin. It ‘scans’ the header field and the body of every message that you receive and determines a spam score, based on which it either deletes a specific email or allows it to enter your inbox. The Hepsia Control Panel will also permit you to set up custom email filters and either delete unwelcome email messages or send them to a third-party address such as spam@domain.com where you can examine them once more afterwards.
Spam Filters in Semi-dedicated Servers
In case you take advantage of one of our semi-dedicated servers, you will not need to worry about unsolicited bulk email messages clogging your mailboxes every now and then, as you can resort to the famous SpamAssassin filter that we provide with each and every account. Our custom-developed Hepsia hosting Control Panel will allow you to enable the filter for any mailbox with a few mouse clicks and you can pick one of the 5 levels of security – from very high to very low. The level can be changed at any time if, for instance, authentic messages get filtered, or if unsolicited bulk emails go through and reach your Inbox folder. To be on the safe side, you can choose all filtered emails to be forwarded to a special mailbox such as spam@your-domain.com and not to be erased. Thus, you can check them every now and then to make certain that you haven’t missed an authentic email message.
